Carving pumpkins

After our trip to Amazing Acres, Jess wanted a few of her friends help her carve her pumpkin. So that is what they did. We sat her pumpkin in the back yard, and away they went.

However, pulling out the guts and scrapping the sides is as far as they got. Jessica wanted to save the rest for our traditional family carving! So Sunday night, we did the remaining pumpkins.

They all have strobe lights in them, so it was hard to get a picture of all of them lit up at the same time. Tonight, when it gets dark, I will try to take a video of them.

Amazing Acres Farm

Sunday we decided to head to Amazing Acres Farm. It is a small farm about 5 miles from my house. I don't think they are open to the public all year, but they do things for schools and parties and that sort of thing. Last weekend and this weekend, they are doing "trick or treat with the animals". The kids all enjoyed it.

Jessica's friend Corrine went with us. Here they are holding up the little rubber chickens and sling shots that you use to play "chick~tac~toe" It was a really cute game, however, they never got the hang of it.











Everyone got to go fishing, but it happened so fast that this is the only decent picture I got. Everyone caught a fish, some bigger and better than others!!

This guy was very hungry and very active. He loved it when someone would rub him, but got very "pushy" with the other goats when some one tried to feed him. Yet, he was gentle with the girls and would just lick the food out of their hands.

This one followed Owen around. I think Owen wanted to bring him home.

I think this one was my favorite. So small and sweet!

And even the animals need a good place to Worship!

What's got them so all intrigued, you ask?

These pigs are over 20 years old!

If I tried to pass this off as my Christmas card photo, do you think anyone would notice that I am missing one boy but added a girl? HHMMMMM!! Come on...I will NEVER again get 5 kids to look at the camera!

You may be asking your self why there aren't any pictures of Sean near the animals? Well, that is because he kept a safe distance between himself and the "puppies"

Way Back WHEN~esday

With the boys birthday (11/4) and Halloween fast approaching, I thought I would post this picture. Oct. 31, 2006, 4 short days before the boys were born! I waddled around the entire neighborhood like this that night! AAHH memories!! lol

It's All About Tuesday

Jess posted today on her blog. Little Tuesday is having scans and all sorts of other things done today and the surgery to remove the remainder of the tumor has been scheduled. Seems Nov 4th is not only a day of politics, or Sean and Owen's birthday, but a very important day for Miss Tuesday and her family! Please go to her blog and let her know that you are praying that the scans today and tomorrow show a very small tumor left!

Edited to add: Don't forget about the Discovery Toy Sale that is going on in Tuesday's name. Remember, Debi is hosting, but Jess and Tuesday are the "virtual hostesses"! JK will get to do some shopping for her children! Go here to read all about it!!

Soccer is Over!

We had Jessica's season end party a couple weeks ago. Her team did not fair so well this season, but that is ok...we will get 'em next season!!

Delaney's season ended last week, and although her team didn't have a party, she did get a trophy. They were so excited to get them.

And remember when I said that I originally thought that Delaney was not cut out to be a soccer player, but then she proved me wrong in her first game? Well, it seems that my first impression holds true. This is what she looked like during most of her games...

No, she wasn't supposed to be playing at the time, but come on, shouldn't she at least be facing the field on which her team is playing? AAHH..to be 4 again!!

Friday Foto Finish Fiesta

This week is a group of pictures. Last week, Jessica brought down about 4 or 5 of Delaney's outfits and said she was going to do a photoshoot with her. She took some really good pictures, however, got bored with it after just one outfit! lol
