Way Back WHEN~esday

I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I haven't really blogged much since Christmas, and I must admit, I miss it! So, I am back!!

I am taking you WAY BACK to February of '07. We took the girls bowling. I think this may have been Delaney's first bowling trip!

Head over to Twinfatuation to see who else is playing.

Bounce U

Yesterday we were invited to join 6 of our friends at a bounce house. 3 friends are in Delaney's preschool class and the other 3 (their siblings) will be in Sean and Owen's preschool class next year. We had a blast. It took the boys a little to get in the swing of things, but ended up having a blast!

Delaney was sliding so fast, she is just a blob!

Better late than never!

For Valentine' Day, Scott and the kids got me a mini fondue pot. One night last week, the kids, Scott and I broke it out. Unfortunately, Jess was sick, so she was not able to join in on the fun. While Delaney and Sean loved all aspects of it, the dipping and the eating, Owen reserved himself to mostly dipping and waiting for someone else to eat.

OH! What a celebration it was!

I have been searching for the words for almost 2 weeks now. I still haven't found them. I don't think I ever will. I still cry every.single.day for Tuesday and her family. I can't even imagine how they do it. Scratch that. I can! They are amazing people. All of them. JK, Charley, Spencer, Axel, and Piper. And it doesn't stop there! The extended family! They are all awesome. With each other and with God, they will get through this. Jess, you are absolutely amazing! I love you!

I am sure you are all wondering how I know Jess. While I was pregnant I went on line looking for support. Mental. Emotional. Just support. I found this AMAZING group of women. I only posted a few times, but read along often. After Sean and Owen were born, I found I needed them more and more. I started posting every day. Two times a day. Three times a day. OK...The truth is A LOT..and I will leave it at that. I met Jess, Tuesday and Piper on a trip to Roanoke, Va. in June of 2007. There were 4 of us there for the weekend. My feelings for JK were validated that weekend. She is an amazing woman. Even though this was the only time I met Jess in person, I still felt pretty close to her.

Please continue to pray for the Whitt family. That they will find peace in this. After meeting them, I KNOW they will get through this, and they are stronger as a family for having to go through this.

Please go to Jess' blog to read her last post. She has an amazing way with words.
You can also go here and here to read more great recaps of the weekend in CO and see some great pictures.

"Wagie" Ride for Tuesday

In celebration of Tuesday, we went for a "Wagie" ride today. Fortunately the weather was great and we were so excited about are ride. We think this will be the start of many more rides for us this summer as we definitely have the hang of it now (versus last year when we wouldn't sit down for a ride). So thanks Dad for letting us go for our "Wagie"ride today so we could be a part of this great celebration.

Sean & Owen

PS. Mom we miss you!

A "six pack"....

...of Super Bowl titles for the Pittsburgh Steelers. We just celebrated a Gator National Championship and now we get to celebrate a Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl victory. Not a bad couple of months for our sports teams. This whole being a "fan" thing is pretty easy when your teams are doing well. So Big Ben and the boys snatched victory on a last minute touchdown, while the defense forced the game ending fumble just to be sure there were no Cardinal heroics. Congratulations to the Steeler players, the Rooney family, and the great people of Pittsburgh.

Go Steelers!
