First Annual Tuesday Blog Party

Just one week from today, the First Annual Tuesday Blog Party will be starting.
It is being thrown in honor of our dear friend, Jess' daughter Tuesday, who sadly lost her 8 month battle with neuroblastoma in January.
Debi is hosting the blog party over at her fundraiser blog and all of us will be auctioning off some fantastic items on our blogs. That's right, all 10 of our blogs will have something awesome that you can enter to win, just by simply donating ONE DOLLAR to the Tuesday Fiona Whitt Foundation.

Delaney's Garden Party

On Saturday, we had Delaney's 5th birthday party. She wanted to have a Garden Party. Each little girl was given a flower pot decorate with beads. hearts.stars.moons.dots.diamonds.of all colors and sizes.

While we waited for the glue to dry,




We ate cake




and opened presents.





Then after some playtime in the yard,


the girls each got a flower to plant in their pot.





A special Thank~you goes out to my helpers. Jessica, Faith, Evalyn and Danielle. I couldn't have done it with out you girls! You are the best!



They even got to do their own pot after everyone else was done.

Way Back Whens~day

5 years! 5 YEARS! OMG! I can't believe my baby girl is 5 years old today! Where has the time gone?

Oh What a project!

Friday we had this delivered!

That is a lot of mulch!

My BIL David (affectionately know as Uncle DD) brought it. Delaney likes him just a little..can't you tell?


We knew we had to work fast on Friday because it was to rain, HARD. We worked through a couple small little drizzles, but just a mere 3 hours into working we had to stop. This is what it all looked like after day one.



Not too bad!

We worked at it most of the day on Saturday. We had plans to be at our good friends house for a cookout, so we worked hard. We had a lot of help. A little too much at times.




We were able to have lunch outside




By the time Sunday rolled around, we knew we needed to get the trailer emptied, so we put everyone to work...

...even my mom...

Chris helped cut down a tree...



After just a couple of hours, the trailer looked like this...

And the yard like this...


Now waiting for nice weather again so we can enjoy it!

We had company!

Thursday Jen, a fellow twin mom came to visit. She lives in NJ, but was in NC visiting family. She took the day to bring her twins over to come visit us. Jen and I have been members of the same online multiples group since we were pregnant, but I got a chance to meet Jen a couple months ago the Tuesday's celebration of life of Life. I was thrilled when she told me she would be coming this way and even more thrilled when she said she may be moving down.

...once outside she got a kick out of running away from Jen. Jen wasn't half as impressed as Catherine was!
