Our 4th Weekend ~Day 2

Jessica spent the night with the girls at Cousin Margaret's house on Friday night. Scott and I decided to take a ride on The Blue Ridge Parkway to Grandfather Mountain then back to Blowing Rock. I was extremely excited to get pictures of the boys on the mountains after seeing my friend, Sharlene's blog. However, the weather was HORRIBLE. It was foggy and cloudy. And once we got up to Grandfather, it was pouring down rain. Since it was $14 a person to go to Grandfather, we decided we would make another trip up when the weather was nicer. That is when we decided that the fall when Jessica is tracked out of school would be the best time. Here are a few pictures we did get. The boys slept for the entire ride, so we we could only stop at the turn outs and take a few pictures.

The 3rd one really shows how foggy it was. You can just barely make out the Mountains in it. The last is shot of the mile high swinging bridge at Grandfather Mountain.

After our drive, we went back to cousin Margaret's for the graduation party. She had a photographer there and took tons of pictures. So since everyone was lined up so nice, I took the opportunity to snap a few shots myself. This is what was there of the O'Laughlins

Must remember that Scott's dad is one of a million 11, so the family is rather large!

But the boys just wanted to see more cows!!

Sunday morning, we met the fam in the lobby to say our goodbyes. Once again, I tried to get pictures by the fire. The boys still wanted nothing to do with it, but the girls...
