I am not one who likes spiders. In fact, I will usually kill one the first chance I get, but I have to admit that there is something about huge spiderwebs that I find beautiful. I hate that this picture did not come out better. This was taken at the wedding this weekend that we went to.

Really pretty if you click and enlarge the photo. Here in Africa we get huge spiders webs in the veldt (grasslands) and in the mornings with dew on them, they look really gorgeous.

I find spiderwebs beautiful first thing in the morning when the sun shines just right on them and you can see the small specks of dew glistening. But if I spider is on it...well the web doesn't look beautiful for long!

I would have to agree with you. I am usually one that kills them. Upon zooming, I'm thinking he's one that wouldn't be alive today. He's lookin pretty scary sitting there in that huge web.
I would have totally walked into that web and then done my freak out dance.
