Anyway, back to the topic at hand.
We left the house early because last year, all the roads were closed by the time we got there and ended up having to walk a pretty good distance to get to the parade. And it is a good thing we did, because we almost didn't get a spot next to the road!It was tough in the beginning. The boys didn't understand why we were just standing around doing nothing, but once the parade started, it was all smiles. They all even clapped for some of the bands. Delaney sat on the curb the entire parade. At first, there was only room for her, but the family beside her got up half way through the parade and I made my way down with the boys.
a couple crowd pleasers were The Grinch, seen with Cindy Lou (that is her name, right?) and the fire trucks.
Delaney loved this band!
which by the way is our towns High School band that has only been together for 3 years!
These are my favorite each year. I don't know how they don't crash into each other.
PS MiMi, the kids want to know if Phin has a jacket like this?

OH! How fun! So jealous that we have nothing like this here!
We have only done one parade with Yaya. That was the Pear Parade and we were soooo lucky it started almost as soon as we sat. Not sure how she would do now. Looks like tons of fun and I love that puppy outfit.
Awesome parade! We have a small Santa parade, but nothing like that! Glad you & the kids had such a great time!
Sounds like fun! What a great town! They do the parade AND the main street thing? There are some parade options around here but WAY too cold out these days in NJ!!!
