Is it really Christmas already?

This weekend I had family come into town for Christmas. Yes, that is right, Christmas. With busy schedules, this was the only weekend we could all get together. Which is nice, because it spreads it out a bit. My dad, my stepmom, stepbrother and his family came. We had a great time, while my brother, SIL and thier kids stayed the night here, my dad and stepmom went to my sisters to sleep. Saturday, my sister and I spent the morning in the kitchen to cook turkey, ham, butter beans, corn, collards, greenbeans, and I can't remember what else (and it was pretty darn good if I do say so myself). After lunch the kids opened a few gifts and then we just all sat around and talked (and of course celebrated a UF win for the SEC championship). Even though they only live 2.5 hours away, I don't get to see them as much as I would like.

Scarlet, I am not sure I have ANY pictures of Tyler and Nathan. Wonder if Karen got any that she can send me.

What a fun early Christmas. It's not when you celebrate it's who you celebrate with that matters. My girlfriend and her family celebrated early too.

Looks like you had alot of fun with your family! I just love the holidays :) We usually travel to GA to spend the holidays with some family there. It's only about a 2.5 hour drive so it's not too bad. Close enough to take trips every so often!

I too am very happy about UF's win! I am crossing my fingers for a job that will carry me into Florida down in the Tampa area...I am a Bucs fan! :) Are you in Florida too?

Sometimes one has to bend the time a little to be together.
