I will be away...

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be away for a few days. Where? You ask...

That is right...Tomorrow morning I will board a plane at 7:30am and head to Cancun, Mexico. I am going with a good friend of mine, Jenny. Jenny earned the trip through work and couldn't think of anyone else she would rather take. You may remember last year my good friend Jenny took me to The Bahamas!! We will be staying at The Moon Palace. I will be home Sunday night and will update with tons of pictures then!!

The O'Laughlin Twins

My friend Debi posted a picture of the twins in her family, so I thought I would do the same. It is acutally an odd story. We all know that fraternal twins run on the maternal side, right? Well, not in Scott's family! Scott's grandmother, Isabelle, had 2 sets of twins. One set (girls) did not survive, but had a second set of fraternal boys, Bill and Bob. Isabelle's son, Mike, has a set of fraternal girls Lauren and Kristin . Scott's sister, Erin, has a set of identical girls, Hannah and Grace. Now Scott has a set of fraternal boys, Sean and Owen.

Deck Party!

"The Deck"

Saturday night our neighbors had their annual Deck Party! We had a great time. Their next door neighbor has a fenced in yard, so all of the older kids were there playing will all sorts of things (I didn't get any pictures of Delaney playing). The boys had a great time. I only have a few pictures.

The adults enjoyed a great game of cornhole. The object is to get the corn filled bags on the board or the hole. As you can see this guy sucks!!

That's right. Sean and Owen are up to no good, again. Not long ago these cookies would have been safe on the counter. But nope, not anymore. I guess that is what time does. They are getting older, which means they are getting taller. Where did my babies go?

Delaney's Birthday Party

For Delaney's birthday party we just put up every outside toy that we have and let the kids run wild!! I think it may have been one of the best parties we have had at the house. She had 8 friends from school, a few neighbors and family over for a cookout.
