Guess what? Today, January 20, 2009 IS a wonderful day! Not because we have a new President being sworn in, but because WE GOT SNOW! If you know anything about Eastern North Carolina, you know WE DON'T GET SNOW! The girls started to get a little excited yesterday when they heard that they were calling for 2-4 inches of snow. This would be the first "measurable" snow since 2004! The year Delaney was born! I admit, I was excited and just knew it was going to happen. Scott, on the other hand, was very doubtful that we would get a trace! Guess what? It happened. 4+ inches and counting. It is still snowing, HARD! And are not expecting it to stop for 2-3 more hours. Anyway, here are a TON of pictures!

Aawww how cute and they look like they're having fun! We are just the opposite here in Colorado, it was almost 70 degrees today. Amazing and wonderful. My kids have had major cabin fever!
Awww c'mon now Terri! Can't y'all share a couple inches with us ever-so-slightly north of you in VA? ;)

Have fun in the snow!
I think you have gotten more snow, in one sitting, than we have! That is crazy! That is why I live in the mid west! I want a foot of snow at the very least! LOL
Great pics, So jealous! I find it interesting that you have snow suits when you haven't had snow since 2004! LOL Were you a girl scout?? LOL
This looks like so much fun! Our chance, absolutely zero!
