Today is the day. The day she goes in for "minor surgery" to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. But is it ever really 'minor' when it is our babies? Although I have had other children go through 'minor' surgery (not for tonsils) it does not make it any easier. Delaney has never had strep throat or any other throat infection, so why, do you ask is she having her tonsils removed? Delaney's tonsils are 4X the size they should be, causing her to have a mild case of sleep apnea.
Please pray that this is an uneventful surgery and that there is minimal pain after.
