Oh What a project!

Friday we had this delivered!

That is a lot of mulch!

My BIL David (affectionately know as Uncle DD) brought it. Delaney likes him just a little..can't you tell?

We knew we had to work fast on Friday because it was to rain, HARD. We worked through a couple small little drizzles, but just a mere 3 hours into working we had to stop. This is what it all looked like after day one.

Not too bad!

We worked at it most of the day on Saturday. We had plans to be at our good friends house for a cookout, so we worked hard. We had a lot of help. A little too much at times.

We were able to have lunch outside

By the time Sunday rolled around, we knew we needed to get the trailer emptied, so we put everyone to work...

...even my mom...

Chris helped cut down a tree...

After just a couple of hours, the trailer looked like this...

And the yard like this...

Now waiting for nice weather again so we can enjoy it!

We have pine straw in our back area but seeing your mulch, I'm wondering if we might change it next year!

and you think the pictures make it lookd good - you should really see it in person - they did a great job! Yes, Delaney loves her Uncle DD - she normally would have been rubbing his head if he did not have on the hat!!! Aunt Karen
