WBWW ~ Walk for JD

I am walking to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes.
JD, the son of a friend of mine was diagnosed with Type 1, Juvenile Diabetes, in January 2005. Since then his family has walked in the annual Walk to Cure Diabetes. I have walked 3 of the 4 times (I have a good excuse to miss the one, I was 7.5 months pregnant... with Twins.)
Well, guess what? It's that time of year again when we gear up for the JDRF annual Walk to Cure Diabeteshis diabetes. He is insulin dependent and has been on pump therapy for 4 years and it hasn't slowed him down a bit. He has continued to participate in gymnastics, soccer and baseball. JD was even able to attend golf camp and spend a week with his grandparents this summer. Along with his family, I am dedicated to helping find a cure for JD and the best way is through the annual walk. Since his diagnosis in 2005, JD has made great strides in controlling alk. Last year our team, JD's All-Stars, increased and we were able to exceed our team goal! This year, we would like to at least match that amount of $3000!! You can join the effort by clicking here and sending a tax deductible donation via credit card. I also have the button on the right of my blog. I have set my personal goal at $100.00

Here are a couple pictures of JD and Delaney

Neuroblastoma, Again!

Again. Same group of twin mommies, different little boy. The 7 (8 next month) year old son of Patti was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. If you remember, Tuesday had a long 8 month battle with NB. Please pray that Joey kicks this Cancer's butt with little pain!

Twos-day ~ Gabi & Jess

While The Bouffards were here visiting this past weekend, Jess and Gabi hit it off very well.

Love is in the air!

Just Plain GROSS

Debi's family arrived late Wednesday night. The 4 little ones took no time at all to warm up to each other and play like they have been friends for ever.

After dinner, the kids ate their nasty treats that Debi and I got them while we were out at the grocery store.

What did you guys think of dessert?

Check out some pics of dinner and yummy desserts over at Debi's blog :)

PS...obviously Debi has been working her scrapbooking magic on my Blog! lol Thanks!

Hill Ridge Farms

Three years in a row now we have visited Hill Ridge Farms. I am sure we will go back next year.

The sky was a bit cloudy, so we decided to get the main things out of the way first. So we started with the train ride.

Notice how far back Jess was sitting from us. I guess that is what happens when you become a teenager. You are too cool to sit with the family!

Looking back at the farm from the train ride.

Delaney wanted to take a quick run through the tunnel

So Jess took a quick nap!

Jess and Delaney playing in the hay pile.

Then a quick hay ride to the pumpkin patch...

...and Daddy steals a kiss

Jess finds her pumpkin

Delaney has hers

...and Sean

...then Owen.

PopPop does his special tricks (the man behind him thought this was the funniest thing ever!)

Daddy is all loaded up!

..and back on the hayride for a trip back to the farm to play some more.

I must admit, this is the ONLY reason we brought the stroller.

Jess down the slide

Delaney down the slide with Sean and Poppy waiting (Sean would not go down)

Where are Daddy and Owen?

WOOHOO!! They made it!!

covering Jess in the corn pit

Only her face was left!

Delaney's turn!

another maze!

... rock mining....
