Disney On Ice

That's right!! 3 post in 3 days!

Sunday afternoon, Delaney and I went to see Disney On Ice, Let's Celebrate. We went with our neighbor and friends Dorrie and her daughter, Bethany.

Here are a few of Delaney's favorite pictures:

..and this just happens to be Delaney's FAVORITE Disney song:

And a couple of Delaney and Bethany. Delaney did not look "great" in either. lol

These hats were "free" with the purchase of a bag of cotton candy! However at $12 a bag, I think I paid dearly for the hat!

Guess who was at our house!

Man, they all looked pretty shocked...wonder what it is?

SANTA!!!

Saturday afternoon, we hosted a party for friends and neighbors and Santa stopped by for a quick little visit and brought gifts for all the little boys and girls!

Sean

Sean wasn't sure at first, but then decided that he would go back for a quick hug!

Owen

Owen did not like Santa at all..he did go to him willingly to give him a quick hug, but Granny (my mom) was not allowed to go far and he only sat for a split second!

We did it as a pot-luck and look at all this yummy food that was here!

and once again...my sister did another awesome cake!

The adults at the after hour party!

Jess on Drums, her friend Bre on Guitar, Scott and Sean on vocals!

Yep...that's me playing guitar! lol

Our Christmas Parade

Saturday morning we bundled up and headed down to the Christmas Parade (it was COLD).

Delaney, Owen & Sean

A bunch of the neighborhood kids

Alex and Jess (becoming fast buddies)

The reason we all weathered the cold

He waved at me! He waved at me!

After the parade, we walked down to the Arts Council to see The local Middle School's Art work. They had a fire pit going and the boys were loving it!

And Delaney was loving her some Steven (he runs the Arts Council, he happens to be a friend and neighbor)

Dear Santa, Please tell me you saw Jessica's attire at the parade and will be bringing her something new....

Just a couple of days after the boys are born...which is most likely why she is not dressed! :)

Middle School Soccer

Jess had a great year on her school soccer team. It was a great accomplishment for a 7th grader to make the team, and Jess managed to get a lot of play time. It was sad to say good-bye (for now) to her team mates.

The girls had a great year...only losing one regular season game (which was out of conference). They won the Divisional Championship, but unfortunately they lost the Conference Championship game. However, that did not stop them for celebrating. After the Championship game, the girls and family members celebrated a great year at a Mama Mia's (not the best service, by far).

They all wanted to sit at the same table...it was a tight fit, but they did it.

Coach Muench~ awesome coach, the girls LOVE him

The Championship Cake

...and this is what happens when you get 20 13 & 14 year olds together.

YES! That IS frosting all over their faces!

Congrats girls on a great year. I look forward to seeing you all next year. Good luck to the present 8th graders that will continue to play for high school.
