This is what it looked like from the parking garage.
Scott and Max getting ready to start the race
...and they're off...
During the race, NC Active was there to keep the kids entertained...
Delaney Hula~hooping
Kayla hula hooping (Thanks to Gloria and her daughter, Kayla, for coming keep me company).
the girls decided the only thing more silly than a man in a "skirt" is a man, in a skirt, hula hooping!
and they played around a little in the Square
Just before Scott, was a Leprechaun...
47:48 minutes (the unofficial time ~he didn't start until over 1minute after the official start.) after the start of the race, Scott crossed the finish line.
Some may wonder why would inspire Scott to run a 8K...
A free beer donated by Tir na nOg, Irish Pub.
A celebratory beer, if you will.
After the race, My Three Kilts, a local Irish Band, played for us...
They were good, but they were no Wild Geese Band (whom I miss, dearly)
Kayla and Delaney enjoyed dancing while they played
doing a little Irish Jig..
**I will update with Scott's official "chip time" as soon as it is posted.**

Nice dispatch and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you seeking your information.
Looks like you had a great time and some nice weather for the race. Maybe I would be more inspired to run if it involved beer...
