Snug as Three Little Bugs in a Rug

So 5 nights of the boys being in big boy beds, 4 nap times....and they still haven't actually slept in
their beds! However, when big sister Delaney comes in for playtime they LOVE the bed! Go Figure!

Don't forget to head over to Candid Carrie's to see who else is playing!

It's time to say goodbye!

.......to our cribs and Hello to big boy beds! I know...crazy! Sean has been crawling out of his bed every night for the past few weeks now to turn on the light then into Owen's bed. I was getting scared that he was going to really get hurt, so it was time to make the switch. I totally had plans on keeping them in their cribs until they left for college, but I guess they had other plans.

We thought the boys were going to do really well with their beds..

Night 1 didn't go so well :
They only cried for a few minutes then it got quiet. When I headed to bed, their light was on. I could barely open the door enough to turn the light off. They were both asleep on the floor right beside the door. I decided to leave them there (does that make me a horrible mommy?). They woke up SCREAMING at 2am. I went in, rocked them a bit, put them both back into their own beds and left. This time, they cried for a couple of minutes. We woke again at 6am to screaming. Sean was still half asleep in the floor, but Owen was standing by the rocking chair, screaming. Brought them to bed with us and they slept until 8am.

Night 2: I will call a success!!

Even though I found them sleeping on the floor, they slept all night waking up at 7am, just half an hour to an hour earlier than normal! Hope this is a sign of things to come!
