A day at the park

Last week was Delaney's first week of track out. We decided to have a play date with some old friends from preschool. Off we went to the park.

First, we had to try out the slides.

Owen
Then the "Big Green Tractor"
which by the way, is the boys new favorite song.

The boys showed off their balance skills and walked across the dragon

And they took a trip to the moon

then under the sea...

Delaney was busy running with her friends and I was barely able to get her to stand still long enough to snap a picture of her, but I did sneak this one...

she is on the far right.

We rode the train, but I didn't get any good pictures there....then to ride the boats.

I wasn't sure how the boys would do with the boat ride, but they loved it and didn't want to get off.

Hi mom!
After we walked through the red caboose...

We were off to the carousel.

Delaney quickly picked her rabbit...

Which she loved very much and wanted to bring him home with us.

Meanwhile the boys flipped out at the mere thought of getting on the back of one of these animals and decided it was best to sit in the carriage.

Afternoon At The Park

Saturday afternoon we had a 40th birthday party for our friend, Dan.

We had fun filled day of BBQ, Chicken, Corn hole and the train. Pullen park is really nice, I just wish is were a little closer. The last time I went, Delaney was about the age of the boys.

There is a train at the park, and get this, it only cost a dollar to ride! That is right $1! AND, they didn't charge for the boys! Where can you get entertainment like that?
Our walk there!

The Train

While Sean (above), was not sure about hated the train, Owen (below) was loving it and wanted to be a big boy and sat on the seat all by him self!

After the train, I tried a little photo shoot, Sean and Owen would have NOTHING to do with it!

Our walk back, Owen was waiting to see the train!

And do you want to know how dirty a little boy can get from a day at the park?

Then at home, a much needed bath!
