Wed, 2/27/08 Virginia Beach

Well, Brandi did not make it to our house, but she did stay just 1 hour away from where I would be getting on I95, so we scheduled our leave times so we could meet. I met Brandi at a rest stop on I95 and it was as if we had known each other for years!! So natural. She was exactly as I had pictured. Yes, I had seen pictures of her, but pictures still don't tell everything. It was early, so we decided to drive for a while then stop and get lunch. We ended up stopping at a Cracker Barrel. And the questions/looks started. Are they quads? Twins? Are they identical? Little old ladies were staring from around the corner. All of the wait staff had to come over and put in their two cents!! All in all, we had a great time just eating and chatting. Again, like we had known each other forever!!

After waiting for a while, Debi and her gang finally showed up. (If you read her blog, you will see that she did not have a pleasant trip down from NJ) Since we had already had dinner while waiting for her to arrive, she let her bubs eat and then it was play time for a couple of hours.

Debi brought a tunnel which all the kids LOVED, small and big!! I must try to find one of these!!


We noticed that Sean and Will had a strong resemblance, but man, Will looks like Owen in this picture!!

After putting the babies to bed, we all stayed up chatting and having adult beverages until 4am! This was my third time meeting Debi. What can I say? How can you not LOVE her?
