Good friends, Good neighbors

Scott and I have considered ourselves very lucky with the neighborhood that we are living in. This is our third house together. The first neighborhood was awesome. We were on a dead end street and everyone was close to the same age with children close to the same age. It was a perfect fit. The second, not so much. The neighbors were NEVER outside and we never really got to know anyone. Even the neighbors right next door!

We have been in this house now for a little over a year and we immediately hit if off with the next door neighbors! We really could not have asked for better neighbors. In fact, I can only think of a couple neighbors I can do without (any neighbors reading, you will know who I am talking about). Saturday night we had an impromptu gathering with two other couples. For Mother's Day (I just realized I never posted about Mother's Day)I got the Margarator. Well, we put it to good use!!

I made the most AWESOME strawberry Daiquries

Thanks to Dorie for the fresh strawberries!

I am sure you all remember this clip from "Encino Man"

Well, Dan I am telling you now.....

Things are always so much better when you have great neighbours to hang out with. I'm so glad you live in such a great neighborhood.

We have adult time at least once a week these days after 9:30 when the kids are in bed. There are between 10-20 of us, we set up chairs in the middle of our cul-de-sac and we drink margaritas and the boys smoke cigars. It's so great to be able to enjoy some grown up time.

I'm so jealous of your margarita maker. I must have one of those.

Debi I think Terri needs to make a road trip to your house and we should have a girls night buy your pool with her margarita machine!
