Pumpkin Patch

What a busy weekend we had! Saturday was the NC State Fair and Sunday was Hill Ridge Farms! This is the same farm we went to last year, and my how things change in a year!

The first thing we did was a maze. Delaney led the way:

Then the Hill Ridge Farms 'Cool Bus

Sean liked the big tractor tire!

look at my big boy standing on it all by himself!!

We checked out the goats and chickens:

While Delaney and Daddy were in line for the slide,

The boys and I played on the playground

They traded turns catching each other on the slide

twenty minutes later, Delaney came down the slide!

Next as the train ride. And I have to say, I after the way the boys acted at the fair on Saturday, I was not sure how they were going to handle the train. They were not sure about it at first, but started to relax and enjoy it a bit.

The boys had been watching the tractor (hay ride) all day. They LOVED it, as long as we didn't get too close. Again, not sure how they would handle it, and this was more concerning since that was the only way to the pumpkins!!

Then Pumpkin Heaven!!

...and if you get tired, there are plenty of seats...

We loaded Daddy up ...
...and headed back to play some more.
And mommy and daddy had a quiet ride home!!

In case you were wondering, this is what they looked like just one short year ago....

This looked like a fun day for the family. as the years go by these are the days you will remember themost. The boys seemed to love the adventure and with bg Sis taking the lead I now know why everyone was exhausted. Make memories, these are the joys of marriage and the foundation of lots of fun chats with the kids as they grow!!
