Chris had a school project to raise 5 baby chicks. At the end of 6 weeks, he had to take them to the local Agricultural Fair and have them judged. The top chicken would take home $500 (I think that is the right amount). Chris placed second!! You go Chris!!
Delaney really loved the chicks!

Wow. . .a school project? I think I'd FLIP if my school did that to us! No way, no how! Not because I have anything against it, but we wouldn't have the ROOM in this already full zoo!!!!

What a great idea - & I bet they all had such fun with the chicks - shame you couldn't keep them til they were really useful & could lay eggs!
That is so neat! I bet everyone had fun with the chicks!
Funny story: My uncle and mom got a baby chick one easter when they were young, and my uncle slept with his and in the middle of the night, rolled over on it and killed it! Poor chick, but sooooo funny.
