November 2004 Chris wanted his hair lightened. His hair is so darn dark, this did not work. There was no difference in the before and after! Sorry Chris!
I lightened my boys hair from dark brown to blond and it turned out more orange. After a couple days of kids asking if he was wearing a wig - he wanted a buzz. Now it's cool because the hair tips are highlighted.
Oh ny goodness, that is TOOO funny! Bless his heart...it reminds me of when I was a teen and asked my mom to perm my hair. Two hours later, and nary a curl!

Wow! I've never heard of hair dye not working. It didn't change his highlights or anything? What was his next decision to change?

Mine is dark but I dye it darker every fall because the summer makes it have red highlights and I like just plain dark hair!
Poor fellow - all that time & effort (not to mention the gorgous pic - LOL) for nothing!!
