Ice Cream Truck Of Another Kind

Saturday, while we had a few friends over (don't worry, pictures of that are coming soon), we noticed a HUGE furniture truck riding around the block. Someone had ordered a TON of Thomasville Furniture! Just minutes later he came walking around the corner. The Ice Cream man furniture truck driver. Seems an Interior Designer in the area had order the furniture to stage a home and didn't have the money to pay for it. They had gotten a permit at the town hall to basically go door to door to sell the furniture at 1/3 of the price! AMAZING DEALS!! Found a couple chairs I LOVED! Only wish I had somewhere to put them and/or the $$$ to buy them!

The Train, The Train!

A few weeks ago, my sister took Delaney, Sean and Owen to The Depot Park. They had a blast climbing on the train.

Whoa Nellie!

Delaney was invited to a birthday party on Saturday to Deadbroke Horse Farms. I just want to say that this was one of the best ideas for a party that I have seen in a long time. I love horses. Have been wanting to go riding for a long time and I am SO jealous that Delaney got to go riding. ON A REAL HORSE! This wasn't little pony like they have at fairs. This was a horse, riding on a trail! I was leading the horse, so unfortunately, I didnt' get any really good pictures, but here are a few someone else took for me.

There were roosters everywhere!


The girls also had fun on the 'old school' merry go round

I scream, you scream, we all scream

They heard it in the distance. The kids ran inside screaming "The ice cream truck, the ice cream truck! It's coming, it's coming. ICE CREAAAAAAMMM!!" So outside we went. Money in hand. Waiting....and waiting...and waiting....hearing it in the distance, but still not seeing it (our neighborhood is pretty big). Waiting for what seemed like eternity!

When finally...here it comes...QUICK!...I want to be the first in line....




Even the adults felt the need to rush in(even if it meant knocking the little ones out of the way).


Sean and Owen both got push up. They were yummy.



Delaney got a SpongBob popsicle.


And this is the damage that Owen has done. YUMMY!!

Mother's Day at Little Dreamers

Friday, Delaney's preschool invited all of the Mommies to come celebrate with them. They had 3 stations set up. First, Delaney made me a jewelry box...



Then she painted my nails...



then she made me a necklace to put in the box.

During class last week, Delaney drew a picture of me and wrote a few facts. I had to pick which one was mine. I got it on the second try.

Thank you to Mrs Karen and Mrs. Coleen, Delaney's teachers, for doing this for us. And thank you to my mom who stayed home with Sean and Owen so that I could enjoy this time with Delaney. It was very special to me.
