It's time to say goodbye!

.......to our cribs and Hello to big boy beds! I know...crazy! Sean has been crawling out of his bed every night for the past few weeks now to turn on the light then into Owen's bed. I was getting scared that he was going to really get hurt, so it was time to make the switch. I totally had plans on keeping them in their cribs until they left for college, but I guess they had other plans.

We thought the boys were going to do really well with their beds..

Night 1 didn't go so well :
They only cried for a few minutes then it got quiet. When I headed to bed, their light was on. I could barely open the door enough to turn the light off. They were both asleep on the floor right beside the door. I decided to leave them there (does that make me a horrible mommy?). They woke up SCREAMING at 2am. I went in, rocked them a bit, put them both back into their own beds and left. This time, they cried for a couple of minutes. We woke again at 6am to screaming. Sean was still half asleep in the floor, but Owen was standing by the rocking chair, screaming. Brought them to bed with us and they slept until 8am.

Night 2: I will call a success!!

Even though I found them sleeping on the floor, they slept all night waking up at 7am, just half an hour to an hour earlier than normal! Hope this is a sign of things to come!

Having a Ball!

This past week I have been cleaning out old toys and clothes for a consignment sale. Saturday, the boys noticed me taking them out to the car and were not very happy! So, we decided to pull out the ball pit. I have not had it out since Delaney was little for very selfish reasons (I get tired of picking up the darn balls). They have had a grand ol' time playing!

Friday Foto Finish Fiesta

For the past few weeks, Sean has been crawling out of his crib and into Owen's for naps and bedtime. This is no big deal, because they are still sleeping. However, this is what I found one day this week when I went in to wake them. Owen in the crib, Sean on the floor and packs of wipes EVERYWHERE!

Don't forget to head over to Candid Carrie to see who else is playing.

Way Back WHEN~esday

Jessica, March 2005

Once upon a time, we went to Pittsburgh every year for The Big St. Patrick's Day Parade! The parade is this weekend, but once again, we are not going to be able to make it. However, we want the O'Laughlin family to know that we will be thinking about you and will be with you in spirit!

I promise she had on her St. Patrick's gear under her snow suit!
